Ridiculous prices..

You know.. SMU students always like to complain about the expensive textbooks we have to buy every semester. A Book cost roughly about 40-50 bucks. So if you are taking 4-5 courses, that will set you back almost $200.

Try coming to Canada or the states (I'm not sure about europe). The price of textbooks here is CRAZY! Ridiculous! MAD!

I have to buy 4 textbook and 1 coursepack... here is how much they cost.

German 101 : $165 Cad
Business Finance: $120 Cad
Earth & Solar Sys: $140 Cad
Marine Biodiversity: $140 Cad
Intro to e-biz (course pack): $45 Cad

That works out to be $610 Cad or $885 Sgd!

With that money, I can buy a samsung 32inch LCD TV or Nintendo WII with additional controller. Mummy, Daddy and Sis.. if you see this.. maybe its time you start sending more $$$$$$$$$$$$ to me! =(
